Hello
Jennifer discovered yoga at the age of 17 through a family friend, and after her bachelors degree, qualified in India (YTT 200) in 2010. She read her masters in Women’s Studies at Oxford and then did a PhD at Southampton.
Jennifer has taught on retreats in Sri Lanka, yoga studios in London, and in private homes in Dubai. She loves being back in her hometown in Frome, and teaching law (human rights) at the University of Southampton.

My Story
Jennifer’s interests in feminist philosophy, women’s history and the divine feminine are brought into her own practice. She believes that yoga is much more than just the asana (the physical form) and encourages a focus on the feeling of the movements, as opposed to the visual aesthetic of the sequencing. She teaches in a heart-centred, dynamic way, intuitively working with an individual and reading the room to see if the client needs more power, or more calm in that moment. She believes in perfect imperfection and brings non-judgmental acceptance to teaching, whichever stage you are at in your yoga journey.

She believes yoga is about coming back to the true self. It is about Love. Life. Beauty. Exploration. Authenticity. Connection. The constant interplay between simplicity and complexity. Finding and loosing balance. And starting all over. Deepening. Recognising, and letting go of judgment we have of ourselves and our bodies.
